HOW SAXON GATE FLOWERS STARTED
it all began with a love of growing flowers…
Growing plants from seed and cuttings, seeing them thrive and sharing the joy they give people is what I love.
I am the founder of Saxon Gate Flowers. I have been a gardener as long as I can remember and have grown flowers on my allotment in Biggleswade for over 15 years.
MY ALLOTMENT
Growing a wide range of cut flowers on my plot has helped me understand how to grow them well.
During that time there has been an increased interest in British cut flowers, reflecting people’s concerns about the impact of the international flower trade on the environment.
New Plot of land
The opportunity to grow cut flowers on a new plot of land at Saxon Gate Flowers enables me to grow a wide range of beautiful blooms in an environmentally responsible way.
WORKING WITH NATURE
Our flowers are grown locally without chemicals & air miles.
Our flowers are grown without using peat so avoiding damaging fragile eco systems.
Flowers grown by Saxon Gate Flowers are produced with the environment and nature in mind.
